Where it started.

After nearly two decades of calling the Warm Heart of Africa our home, we’re embarking on an exciting new chapter as we return to South Wales. Our journey has been filled with adventure, growth, and countless cherished memories. Now, we’re eager to bring our passion for education to the communities that hold a special place in our hearts.

For almost 20 years, we’ve had the privilege of founding and running an international school in Malawi, Africa. It’s been a remarkable journey, serving students from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and witnessing the transformative power of education firsthand. From the vibrant colours of the African landscape to the warmth of the Malawian people, our time in Africa has left an indelible mark on our hearts and minds.

Returning Home.

Now, as we return to the land of rolling hills and lush valleys, we’re filled with a sense of excitement and anticipation for the opportunities that lie ahead. Our experience in running an international school has equipped us with a wealth of knowledge and insights into the field of education, and we’re eager to share that expertise with schools and learners in our local communities.

At Eduvision, our mission has always been to empower learners to reach their full potential, and we believe that every child deserves access to quality education and support. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be offering learning support services, with a focus on personalised tutoring, academic support, and professional development for educators.

Our approach is rooted in collaboration and partnership, and we’re committed to working closely with local schools, educators, parents, and community organisations to identify and address the unique learning needs of learners in the region. Whether it’s providing extra help with maths and literacy, offering training sessions for educators, or supporting parents in their role as advocates for their children’s education, we’re here to lend a helping hand every step of the way.

The Beginning: A Journey of Passion and Purpose in Education

Welcome to the inaugural blog post of Eduvision, where passion meets purpose in the realm of education. As we embark on this journey, we are thrilled to share our vision for supporting children with their learning needs and elevating the standard of education.

Mr and Mrs Cook taught our three boys across KS2 and KS3 in Malawi. This was by far the best education experience we have ever had, in comparison to other private and public schools both in Malawi and in Europe.

Our children count themselves as very fortunate to have had Mr and Mrs Cook as teachers. Striking the right balance between all-round academic vigour and fun. The educational foundations that they built for our son and daughter have proven unshakeable. They put them in the best possible place to continue their education in the UK and we will be forever grateful.

Mr Cook is my all time favourite teacher. He is very funny and kind. He called me 'Marthamatics'' - which made me feel like I was great at maths. He understands why people find some things hard to learn and helps them learn in ways that work for them I miss his class...

We highly recommend Julie’s English sessions! Since August of this year, we've been working with Julie to complement the English component of our homeschooling curriculum. During her sessions, Julie introduces a variety of wonderful books and explains how certain paragraphs are written, helping Way develop his writing skills. Each session also includes a writing component where Way is encouraged to write recipes, short diary entries, and more. Julie provides thoughtful suggestions and motivates him to write with greater precision and detail. Because we travel frequently, the online format works perfectly for us. We're very grateful for Julie's patience, encouragement, and dedication!
